COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The naturally-cloudy Mönchshof Kellar beer is the result of Mönchshof's centuries-long brewing tradition and of the love of traditional beer brewing. This amber color, mild beer appeals to lovers of unfiltered beer, the way it used to be. A tradional Mönchshof beer specialty.

SWING-TOP 50CL from ciocanelu. Thanks, Silviu! Look: hazy dark amber, off-white creamy head with good retention. Aroma: grainy, malty, bready, and some harshness that feels like fermentation by-products. Taste: dry juicy fruity maltiness with a rustic character. Again that "fermentation by-product" harshness, light bitter finish.

Bottle courtesy of a German colleague. Nice amber color, clear, creamy foamy ahead. Light nose: herbal feel, malts. Quite flat in the mouth: medium-high carbonation, bread. Not much to say. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fazit: Not bad, but no cigar!
