COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our gold-yellow Mönchshof Country Beer impresses by its recipe. The finest spicy hops produce its full-bodied aroma. Its aromatic malt flavor comes from noble summer barley. Special proprietary yeast and the soft water, ideal for brewing, from the pristine springs of the Fichtelgebirge add to its traditional export beer character. A real pleasure.

Bottle share at Leighton’s. Thanks to Fergus! As ’Monchshof Mild Wurziges Landbier’. BB Aug 2015, 5.4%. Pale yellow, clear, sparkling, decent foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is clean basic malts, corn, card, background elderflower minerality. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, foamy. Taste is mostly corn, light grains, bready malt, dry with a soft bitterness. I couldn’t get on with the corniness.
