3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden colour, clear, decent sized head which it held on to quite well. Aroma was Hallertau hop with strong notes of apple. Tasted a bit of clove with hints of banana, finish was grassy and malty, there was some hop bitterness but it wasn’t overdone. Crisp texture, fairly well carbonated, slightly coarse edge from the gas. Decent character for a German Pils, won’t blow anybody away but much better than the big brand Pils on offer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Served in some kind of pils taster glass:
Medium to smaller sized, vast and slowly changing thick white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer.
Aromas of fresh hops, some citrus, some soap, some herbs, cream, flowers, some fresh cut grass and earthy tones.
Flavours of hops, cream, cabbage, herbs, some citrus, some bitters, some grains, honey, herbal spices, vanilla, hay, grains, wheat and wheat. Very nice!
Aftertaste is grainy, hoppy, wheat, light vanilla, creamy, some meal, malts and hay.
Low carbo, soft light creamy texture, low to medium bodied and a light creamy texture. Wow, this is really nice! Hops, honey and herbs (the 3 H’s) balanced in a crispy way!

I bought this when I started homebrewing from Rakuten for the bottle. It poured a crystal clear gold and was a decent though uninspiring pilsner.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from local Sake Marche. Grassy nose, decent hopping, crackers. Very light straw color. Smooth initial, with some flat sweetness/ finish brings out the hops and then a quick descent to mild maltiness. Thin-medium body. Definite pils character, but without much excitement. Very drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very light golden body with almst white head. Classic pilsner aromas, fairly clean yeast yet full enough pale mats. Bit bready and light grassy hop. Not powerful or rich but admittedly a decent aroma. Easily drinkable, medium bitter. Maybe a tat bit grainy here. Nicely hopped though, for a supermaket pils. Nice drink. (50cl bottel from Rewe supermarket)
