Douberd (2620) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2014
(Kulmbacher Mönchshof Radler) Swing top bottle 500 ml at home, served into an english pint glass, ABV 2.5% Pale golden yellow to orange colour on the body, a tad hazy, good sized white head on top, thin, with low retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemonade, lemon juice. Taste of sugar, lemonade, very sweet and kind of artificial. Thin body, low carbonation, watery all in all. Refreshing and thirst quenching, but so is water.

Bottle. Pours a light straw color with a fizzy head. Aroma of fruit and trace of citrus. Taste follows with a light fruit sweetness with a clean finish. Light body, smooth and not much more. Goes best with a hot summer day.

Light unclear pale golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Very inviting and fresh citrus aroma. Quite ok body for and ale at 2,5%. Moderate sweet and a fresh bitterness. Nice fresh citrus flavor. If you like radler, you will like this one.
[Bottle from Meny Alna Senter in Oslo, Norway]

21.07.2014. 0,5l Swing top bottle. From Scandinavian Park, Germany.Pale yellow colour with white head. Very strong aromas and flavours of lemon at first. Gets mor subtile after a while. Kind of nice in the strong sun and its fresh. A little to sweet maybe, but good. Not bad for a beer lemonade.

Bottle from Matkroken, Natland. Pours almost clear weak straw coloured with a tiny white head. Aroma is weak artificial lemonade, some more real urine.Taste is light sweet lemonade, very weak dry finish. Would rather have some water than this if on a bike.

Palme (3591) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 11, 2014
0.5l swingtop bottle. Not often you see a radler in Norwegian grocery store. In the glass it pours a blurry kinda pale golden/yellow looking body with a small bright white fading top. On the nose I get a strong artificial fruity almost tuti fruty sweetness. Some wheat sweetness with banana and tonic water. Not much reminding me of a beer. Really thin and water in the taste and it has a soft prickling carbonation level Even though I haven’t had many radlers before, this has to be the worst tasting one I’ve ever had. Artificial sugary with wheat, cardboard and oranges mixed with sweet lemon curd. Artificial flavors all the way. Strange/horrible stuff. 23.12.2013
