Bottle. Pours a pitch-black body, with a huge light brwon head that diminishes quickly, leaving almost no lace. Mostly coffee aroma, but very nice medium bitter taste, notes of coffee, some faint notes of dark chocolate too. Low carbonation level, full bodied, oily texture. A very good schwarz.

Great tasting beer. Not too hoppy and goes down smooth. Best beer bottle I've ever drank out of. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beautiful pour, thick creamy beige head on an almost black body. Aroma is molasses and burnt toast, taste of dark chocolate, espresso, dark roast grains with some nice lasting bitterness on the roof of the mouth. Mouthfeel and weight are perfect. Definitely a keeper!

Strong cocoa and dark chocolate aromas coming off a crystal clear dark brown body with a light ruby tinge and light tan head. Bittersweet and dark chocolate flavors with a light smokiness. Light bodied but it has a nice creaminess. Dry woodiness that sticks to the tongue and lasts through the finish. Very good Schwarzbier. Happy German Beer Day everyone!

Very dark brown pour, nice off-white head. Warm aroma of cocoa and fruit. Mild chocolatey flavor. A little thin, even for a schwarzbier.
