Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of grain, some clove, caramel and malts. Flavor of butter, malts, caramel and mild fruity toffee notes.

Clear copper colored amber with a long-lasting ivory head and thick horizontal streaks of lace. Taste of well-balanced caramel malt cut with some water. It grows slightly through the palate, moving to a lightly bittered finish. Easy to drink, good tasting, but not nearly as big as one might expect.

Barva: střední zlatá. Pěna bohatá, držící. Vůně: Svěží s lehkým nádechem po jablkách. Chuť: plné sladší pivo, výrazná sladová chuť v pozadí jemné ořechové tóny. Jen středně až mírně hořké, ale hořkost ulpívá na patře. Mírná kovová pachuť.

Clear darker yellow with quickly dissapearing white foam head. Aroma is malty pilsener, taste is sweet malt beer like. Bit sparkling, high carbonated. Short aftertaste, malt. (Velp 20121)

Pours medium golden with thin head. Aroma is malt and hay, taste is sharp and hoppy with nice malt underneath. Palate is right, with some tingling in the mouth at finish. This is the sort of spiciness I expect from a Christmas seasonal.

5 liter mini-keg, shared at a Christmas Eve party. Nice clear golden / orange color. Very nice foamy off-white head. Good lace. Texture on this is amazing. Very smooth and creamy, bordering on a nitro-like mouthfeel. Medium / lighter body. Very drinkable. Lighter, smooth carbonation. Not sure what this has to do with Christmas, besides how fun it is to share a 5L keg at a Christmas party, but it;s a very flavorful, smooth, and tasty amber lager as it is. More of a sweet taste. Good bready toasty lightly hopped flavor. Not too much going on, but what’s there is very pleasant, tastes like how a good and smooth amber lager should taste. I don’t know how the other formats of this brew compare, but from the tap I definitely recommend it. Very tasty, and all that tried it seemed very impressed with it. Great choice for a party, and I’m actually happy that this isn’t just another spice ale. Those are a dime a dozen this time of year, a marzen style is a breath of fresh air.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Mellow sweetness with a light dryness. Light malty aromas with some abricots and floral hints. Medium boied. Mediium carbonation. Dry a slightly fruity finish.
