Draft pour pint at Rooneys. Pours a clear golden color with a patchy head and sticky lace. Mild aroma of grassy hop. Lighter crisp flavor with bitter hops up front. Good IPA overall.

Draught at Devilcraft. Very little aroma, taste is mostly bitter grapefuit peel, fairly thin body, mild cracker, notes of pine and cardboard... This stuff is likely oxidized, definitely unimpressed.

Tap at DC Hama. Thanks for sharing Davido. Pours a clear gold with a small white head of foam. Very subtle pine and grapefruit zest notes on the nose. Very hard to catch much in the nose. Fairly standard IPA on the palate. Overly bitter and unbalanced with almost astringent bitterness that recalls citrus zest and pine. Finish is citrusy and slightly warming. Fairly simple, homebrew-esque IPA.

clear golden color. Clean malty nose with cereal grain and citrus notes. The mouth is clean balanced, malt accented with nice moderate bitterness. Fairly perfumy. Very well made IPA with a nice focus on the malt bill.

Draught at Ernest Loves Agnes, 11/2/15.
Hazy drab golden-copper beer with a small white head that recedes quickly and dissipates fully.
Fairly straightforward citrus notes in the nose, though itís not overly acidic and thankfully isnít joined by any pine. Dry limeskin, oranges, white grapefruit and very light pale malts adding a touch of honey and dough. Clean, no alcohol or flaws.
Bracing myself for another cookie-cutter cascade IPA, with orange/grapefruit flavors and too much bitterness, Iím greeted by juicy, overripened ruby red grapefruit, lightly sweet, but well-attenuated pale malts adding light honey flavors and a beautiful watermelon/ripe honeydew melon flavor that is among the most distinct juicy melon flavors Iíve experienced in an IPA (Trillium definitely up there). Rather slick, somewhat watery and amply carbonated mouthfeel seems appropriate and the rest of the glass is filled with oranges, watermelon, sweet meyer lemons and plentiful honey. Really nice and nowhere near overdone on the bitterness (could use a little more, actually).

Can:   Bright golden, large to moderate frothy sandy head, nice carbonation and lacing.   Muted and somewhat stale citrusy hop nose.   Light to moderate bitterness on the tongue.   Soft citrus bits, but not too pronounced.   Not a big IPA by any means.   A touch of soiliness on the backside.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Light citrusy finish, soft bitterness, and a touch of that soil.   Really wished it were a bit brighter, oh, and sweeter.   Sierra Nevada Pale Ale seems hoppier than this, and sweeter.

Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi) web shop. Big citrus hop nose, sweet oranges, light spice. Very earthy and dirty. Medium amber/orange color. Citrus, moderately thick maltiness, nice tingliing hop nips in mid palate, and somewhat resiny hop tracks. Medium body. Doesnít have the real bite of a West Coast IPA, but itís very tasty and well made.

Sampled during VCBW 2015 on the PNE grounds pouring a clear golden color with a small white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Aroma is floral with some hints of spice and citrus. Taste is a spicy , citrus hop bitterness with a grainy mouth feel and a light malty sweetness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, this is a tasty IPA that just needs a little more malt backbone and body to be a better brew. Otherwise, an easy drinking brew.

Lots of resony hops and lots of herbal adjuncts that really add to the profile of this IPA. Quite good.

On tap @ Chuckís 85th. Pours bright clear golden with very thin white head. Aroma is light nutty caramel malt, just a hint of earthy bitter hops. Taste is clean crisp pale malt, dry piney earthy hops come on plenty bitter. Body is pretty light for the style and abv. Finishes dry with faint lingering bitterness. Ok.
