Draft @ brewery. Hazy gold but not opaque, with thick white head and lacing. Brisk, yeasty, spicy aromas with ginger, grass, hops, and fresh malt. Low carbonation. Finishes a bit thin but has some lingering yeastiness and seems thicker than it is. Sweet malt has a lot of character. Also leafy, herbal and bright along with being yeasty. Good, easy going beer.

draft at Zum Kummert Bräu in Amberg. lightly hazed pale gold body with a tall white foamy head. zingy, pungent grassy "green" hops; tangy and peppery with a smooth and creamy body, it’s very much perfectly matched. my only complaint is how it’s a bit thin late and has a saccharine sweetness that seems to grow. but the hops are beautifully presented throughout.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy pale strawy yellow, mid-sized white head. Fruity nose with hints of Federweißer. Fruity-malty start with some white wine flavours tuning in, fruity, shy but good bitter hopy always presetn in the far background. Interesting and good.

Bottle Swing-top: Poured a hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is grain and citrus fruit. Taste is malty with a dry hop bitterness.

Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090818]

Hazy straw colour. Footy with lots of yeast aroma. Strawlike with light herbal hop. Fairly doughy, but with a fair bit of yeast influence as well. Not nuts about the malt-accented rustic concept, overall.

Bottle: Pale golden, a bit unclear, quite stable white foamy layer; fruity-grainy nose with a distinctive phenolic-yeasty touch; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour with a light acidity, light bodied, soft MF; yeasty undertones in the drier bitter-grainy finish. Not great..........

(33cl bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blonde foamy white head. Sweet, yeasty and citrus-fruity grainy aroma with a touch of honey and flowery hops. Moderately sweet flavour with a touch of fruity sourness; grainy and sour doughy taste; sweet and slightly bitter, doughy and yeasty finish with a light herbal and floral hops character. Decent Zwickel (22.07.08).

Bottled. A slightly hazy yellow beer wtih a slight green shine under a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light citrusy note from the hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a light touch of hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Somewhat boring.

Draught, at the brewpub, November 2006. Faintly hazy gold, good lasting off white head and gentle condition. Muted gentle graininess in the nose, pleasantly sweet but muted malt character in the mouth with a low hop floweriness, gentle sweet but short finish.
