(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut colour with a huge, light-beige and persistent foamy head. Sweet, slightly nutty and wheat-malty aroma with sourish fruity notes, accompanied by moderate phenolic spices. Sourish fruity and wheaty taste with light toasted elements (caramel), backed by a delicate malty sweetness; sourish, slightly bitter-tart and spicy finish with a light prune-fruity aftertaste (23.08.08).

Brown body, khaki head. Aroma of some raisins and chocolate with mixed fruits. Flavour is bit fruity, but the banana and the balanced maltiness is missing.

Dark brown colour with big frothy off-white head. Banana, yeast, wheat and dry darkish malt in aroma. Cola and wheat in bland flavour. Fizzy. Weak and boring Dunkelweizen.

Hazy sparkling medium amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, fruity, moderate yeasty, fresh banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090604]

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, hazy, quickly diminishing off-white head; sourish, toasted-malty nose with a mix of lemons and coffee in the second row; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft MF; malty traces in the moderate sweetish-sourish finish. Quite a decent one.........

Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer - very dark for the style, with an orange head. The aroma is sweet wehaty with strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat and caramel, as well as with a slight note of burnt malt.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy, chestnut brown with a creamy, beige head. An almost vinous aroma of overripe fruit, caramel and then.....banana. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel notes and some overripe fruit. A rather nice Dunkelweizen. 131106

bottled, at the kummert brauhaus. brownish, reasonably thick, lightly sour, quite tasty with some nougat, plum and vanilla. not bad. we made the train, in case you were wondering

Bottle. Like this a little better than the regular. Soft banana and wheat, with traces of caramel and nuts, slight brown sugar flavours. Its not outstanding, but drinkable. Had to chug this one too as we had to rush off to get the train.
