Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, fruity, light hay, light hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090723]

Bottle. Golden, hazy very fluffy and quickly collapsing white head. Grainy nose with a mouldy-fruity touch, a bit like apple juice. Light to medium bodied, light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour. Sweet-bitter finish with a distinctive citrousy-fruity touch. Unusual, but quite O.K. ........

bottle as Vilsthaler Hell. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized head. Malty, hoppy in a shy way. Quite all right but not specacular.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Slightly dusty and moderately sweet malty nose with a citrus-fruity hoppy and unclear soapy touch. Light-bitter flavour, simple malty base with shy herbal and fruity notes, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation; slim and shy hoppy, slightly sulphury finish (18.07.08).

Draft. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light hoppy note. The flavor is sweet malty with a fresh hoppy note, but a light note of metal is a drawback. The finish is dry and bitter.

Draught, at the brewpub, November 2006. Gold, thin white head and low condition. Low maltiness in the nose, quite gentle and grainy in the mouth with a touch of chalky malt a gentle hop bitterness, short raw grainy sweetness in the finish.

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Clean, malty aroma. Medium-bodied, sweetish malty and again only very subdued hops. A classical Helles. 131106
