Draught@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. Very fresh, so still some haze, will probably be clear after the tank has been in it’s place for a while. Hazy amber colour, mediumsized beige creamy head that leaves some quite extreme lace. Aroma is mildly hoppy, quite caramelly with a nice chocolaty undertone to it. Flavour is fruity, wooden, a bit caramelly as well as some mild chocolate and toasted notes.

Dark reddish brown colour with a frothy white head. Some lacing. Caramel malts, grass, hay and roasted malts on the nose. Flavour of roasted malts, chocolate and fruits. Medium bodied with a thin mouthfeel. Easy to drink.

{thoughts} A tasty, if slightly sweet, brew well suited for a cool summer eve. It’s reminiscent of many American brown ales in its combination of rich caramel, soft dark malts, fruity aromas and hoppy tenacity.
{elements} Creamy, light tan head, well lasting; cloudy, brick-brown hue. Rich caramel and toast aroma, lightly smoky with spicy and fruity teases of peach and cilantro. Moderately sweet, mildly acidic, moderately bitter; caramel, almost milk chocolate, peaches and mild green apple (acetaldehyde) in the flavor. Creamy texture, soft carbonation, medium body.
