COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lampuoti on punaruskea, amerikkalaistyylinen ale, jonka aromihumaloinnissa on käytetty Amarillo-humalaa, joka yhdessä amerikkalaistyyppisen kuivahiivan kanssa antaa Lampuoti-oluelle helposti aistittavan aromin. Lampuotin raaka-ainena on käytetty suomalaisia ohramaltaita, englantilaista ja amerikkalaista humalaa sekä lähdevettä. Lampuoti on pienpanimossa perinteitä vaalien käsityönä pantua olutta, jonka kantavierrepitoisuus on 11%, lopullinen uutepitoisuus on 2,5% ja alkoholipitoisuus 4,6% Nauttiessasi Lampuotia saat sen maun ja aromin parhaiten esille tarjoamalla sen oikeasta olutlasista 13-15 celsius-asteisena.

(Bottle at FatPhil - courtesy of rosenbergh) Poured dirty brown without any head. Aroma was hoppy, fruity and malty. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, hops, fruitiness, grapefruit, bit of home brew and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter.

On tap @ ELMA Expo. Appearance: Light, rusty brown. Little bit like syryp and resin. Very small thin head. Aroma: Roasted malts. fruity, especially apricot. Little bit resin and a hint of smoke. Taste: Malty, dark chocolate and apples. Aftertaste starts with nuttines, and ends with chocolade and long dark malts Palate: Quite full-bodied and carbonated, mouthfeel is too thin.

Cloudy home-brewy appearance, dark red. Lovely fruity hoppy aroma, peachy and melony, some dustiness too. Soft palate, carbonation low. Bitter and fruity retronasals - some peach and melon, but also a touch soapy in places. Taste follows what comes before - lovely fruity and sweet body, touch of spice, but good malts to back it up. All round solid beer - if only this had conditioned to have some carbonation it would be great.

500 ml bottle. Batch #21. Finland.
Hazy amber colour with almost no head. Yeast, fruits and berries in quite mild American hoppy aroma. Lots of yeast and American hops in flavour. Yeasty and flat. Definitely not bad but a bit like home brewed. Some bitter hoppiness in aftertaste. It’s better on tap I believe.

käsityömessut helsinki, tap. blond unfiltered tastier a bit cough medicin-like flavor. extra-dry. Nice aroma by the hops, light caramel and some pine or juniper. interesting.
