50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 31.05.2014
Aroma has grassy hops, some grainy malt and buttery tones. Also hints of hay. Flavour has grassy hops, some minerals and herbal tones. Finishes with butter and strong grassy hops. Clean and solid, something between German and Bohemian. Perhaps a bit musty, does not feel that refreshing.

Light unclear medium yellow color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100701]

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2011 käsityömessut 2010 Helsinki, tap. fresh and light, a bit watery. bitterish. The bitter tone saves the experience.. Re-rate Käden taito -messuilla 2011: Again a disappointment as I cant find anything interesting in this beer.

Golden clear color, creamy white head, some lace. Apple. metal and malts in the aroma. Earthy, apple-fruity sweet flavor. Saaz-hoppy aftertaste with buttery and malty notes.

Light gold, small head. Apple and lager aroma. Fizzy. Like dried apple slices with nutty bitter skins. Finish basically the same. Too much apple, not enough beer, but not a bad brew by any means.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2004
Very cloudy, yellow color. Nice white middle sized head. Strong citron and grape aroma with grassy and spicy oregano notes. Very interesting and complex aroma. Citron flavored with some hops too, strong hops come up in the end. Medium bodied, citron flavor lasts long. Again very nice brew from this brewery.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2004 (Bottled, BBE 10/2004) Hazy yellow-golden-greenish color with a very small head. Slightly sweet, caramelly and hoppy aroma reminds me of scotch ales (Skullsplitter, Scotch Silly). Very nicely bitter, toffee-malty flavor with a soft, bitter finish. Medium-bodied, slicky and syrupy palate with low carbonation. An excellent, full and tasty pilsener with a strong scotch ale character. [Re-rate, BBE 11/2004, but from the same batch (#6162): Much less scotch ale feel in this - more like a typical Czech pilsener. Maybe a bad bottle, because another sample of the same BBE date had the good old taste]
