fresh and easy, quite simple. Very dark colour. tiny of white head. Not sure if something strange happened in my taste buds but I tasted something like sweet and salty liquorice. nice.

Draught@Isopiippu. Deep rubyish brown colour with mediumsized firm creamy head, leaves some lace. Aroma is yeast, some wood and quite much fruityness. Flavour is earthy, fruity and quite wooden along with some zest and yeasty notes in the finish. Once it warms up it also shows some roasted notes. something like a mix of mild/stout/bitter...

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2007 Rerate, completely different formula: Almost black, but like a blackcurrent/purple brown, and a cappuccino head - quite unusual looking. Aroma is clearly scrumpy cider. As soon as it hits the mouth it’s a huge smack of juniper, which develops into a more sour taste, then becomes a soapy bitterness. Finish is malty and bitter, and very long.
Previous: (6-4-7-3-13=3.3) Draught (Gallows Bird, Espoo - Kekri). Bitter nose - some grapefruit. Black with just a few red rays passing through. Tastes slightly gingery ad grapefruity. Quite mellow portery stoutness. On the whole refreshing and tasty.

(Draught@Iso Piippu, Tammela) Very dark reddish brown color with a smallish, lacy head. Mild, slightly roasty and sweetish and sour aroma. Quite flowery-hoppy, roasty, moderately malty, dryish flavor with licoricey finish. Light to medium-bodied with low, a bit lemonadey carbonation. A quite nice, not too sweet dunkel.
