Thanks to Ricardo Pavez who brought it all the way from the brewery in Valdivida, Chile!!! Nice solid bock, easy to drink, some smoke and good malty flavor.

Bottle at the airport in Santiago. Dark brown, watery looking, with a brief off-white head. Malty, nutty, not much bitterness there. Some herbal scent and a bit of a foil bite. Makes it more of a Dunkel than a Bock. Innocuous. Boring but harmless.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2015 330 cc bottle purchased in Puerto Montt, Chile. Black with a caramel colored head head, medium retention and some lacing. Aroma of bittersweet chocolate and molasses. Taste of roasted malts with notes of coffee, earthy hops and dark cocoa. Good carbonation with a dry finish. More of a porter or schwarzbier than a bock. Light, refreshing and very easy to drink. Excellent offering from Kunstmann.

Toasted malt with notes of chocolate. Deep dark with white head. Not much foam. In taste it crashed, very sour. Not much left but alcohol when it leaves. Not the best i’ve tried from Kunstmann.

Aroma de torrefação levemente doce. Coloração escura, com boa formação de espuma, sem retenção da mesma. Sabor forte, torrefação, café com pouco amargor. Retrogosto com lembranças de café. Boa opção de bock.

Decent bock with hints of molasses and chocolate. Nothing special, but a solid South American beer.

huge creamy frothy light brown head. excellent lacing. mostly lasting. translucent sparkling average dark amberish-brown body. aroma: moderate malty, caramel, dark chocolate, mild coffee. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, light alcoholic finish. 70 s
