COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English style ale according to the label, clean tasting, malty, with a nice depth of palate, wont set the world on fire, but it sure beats all this bland stuff I’ve been choking down lately.

Bottle. Amber with an off-white head that settles to a coat. Low bead. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, light peaches and flowers. Sweet with caramel and fruit, cooked vegies intrude. Dry finish with distinct bitterness. Just in date, but clearly past its prime. Poorish now, but there’s enough to suggest it’d be fine if fresh.

Su sabor no es el que te imaginas al percibir su olor. Sin embargo creo que es una buena cerveza.

Sampled in Chile. This brew was very refreshing and the flavoring was very nicely crafted. Well worth a try. The malts were not too overpowering and it was lightly hopped.

Thanks to SHIG. Packs a malty punch, almost like malta drink. Not very delicious.

smells a lot better than it ends up tasting. not much taste other than a bit of crispness...actually nevermind im detecting a bit of rankness.. Not a fan of this one.

Poured from a standard bottle into a low glass to drink. The beer had a very clear orange-red color with a small white head that had short retention and modest cling. It features a malty caramel aroma with scent of brown sugar, candy, and a bit of pine hops. The taste was somewhat sweet and malty with caramel, and also had a sour-bitter component. It had a light mouthfeel with low carbonation and was fairly thin and a bit dry.

This is a soft ale, but it’s more respectable than most massively produced ales in the American continent. Solid appearance, a tad thin, and decent (though not outstanding) IPA characteristics. Better than most of the alternatives you get at most restaurants. Not fantastic by any means, however.

Not bad, has character like La Roja, or so I think (the argentian beer?). Also, has a similar character to Alpha King, I’m thinking some sort of melanoidin malt coupled with resiny hops. Not too much for hops on this one, but not a complete dearth of hops either.

Got this bottle at a Carrefour Supermercado Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Argentina a couple days ago. It was one of only two bottles on the shelf of a decent beer offering. Poured with a nice fine white head and some lace. Clear amber color. Aroma had some light struck skunk on top but some beery malty, dark fruit, and caramel. Flavor’s about the same but less skunk and more caramel. Good body. Ok finish. If it weren’t light struck it’d be waaaay better.
