fonefan (4000), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 Draught @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008. Unclear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, spicy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (160508) Ungstrup (10801), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 14, 2008 Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. An unclear orange beer with a thick lazing white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana. The falvor is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish with the note of banana lingering. MiP (4679), Flensburg, Germany Jun 5, 2008 Draught at ÅBF08. Citric aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Big stable white head. Good citric flavour, clean citrus. Some spice, quite refreshing. Maria (3738), Thisted, Denmark Jun 2, 2008 Light golden and hazy with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of wheat, coriander/yeast and citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of wheat, coriander, yeast, citrus and it’s smooth and pleasant. IMO more a Belgian Wit than a German Hefe – but anyhow, it’s a nice and very uncomplicated thirst quencher. yespr (5404), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 28, 2008 Århus2008. From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a dense white head. Aroma is dry banana yeasty with a mild wheaty note. Medium sweet flavour with a mild fruity citrusy twist. Nice flavour and balance. Light hoppy finish with a mild fruity note.
