Bottled. Slightly hazy dark amber coloured. Laods of anise in the aroma. Sweetish and yeasty flavour with anise dominating. Slightly sharp yeasty anise finish. Not very well balanced. Medium bodied.

Bottle from SuperBest Rødovre. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, malt, spice, dried fruit and chocolate.

Dark amber color with good head. Spicey aroma. Fine Christmas brew. A little too strong smell and taste of anise.

500 ml bottle from Kihoskh.
Pours a dark copper colour with a small thick head. Aroma of sweet fruits and caramel. Flavour of sweet ripe fruits, hops, caramel and mild nuts. Medium bodied with a thick mouthfeel and a warming, ripe fruity finish. Quite balanced seasonal brew.

Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruity, spicy, yeasty and hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. 280111

Flaske: Rødbrun uklar øl med et fint lille skumhoved. Duften er en smule appelsin og anis med en god del gær og alkohol. Smagen er igen brødgær domineret med en god tand alkohol. Appelsinen kan smages men drukner lidt i den ubalanceret mængde brødgær og alkohol. Drikbar bestemt, men at vende tilbage til den sker nok ikke.

18-DEC-2010, bottle @home. Amber, lasting head. Weak, slightly sweet and spicey nose. Fine X.-mas brew. Adeqately spiced, not too much like many others...

Bottle. 4 days past ‘best before’. Pours a hazy, reddish brown with a beige head. Sharp hoppy (pine) aroma with a solid malty backbone. Notes of spices and dark fruits. Good blend of the hops and the malt at first, but as it warms, the malty part gains force and becomes a bit cloying. Flavour is malty with dark fruits and spices. Bitter, malty finish. Notes of liquorice. Lingering grassy notes. Overall a decent beer. 04.06.10.

Aroma of hops, chocolate and nuts. Deep redbrown colour with beiige head. Sweet spicy flavour with a hoppy finish. Raisins, nuts and portwine in flavour. Very suitable for Christmas.

Pours copper with no head. Aroma is malt, light orange and light coriander. Flavour is sweet malt, alcohol and orange.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Esbjerg. Pours a clear brown beer without any head. The aroma is coriander and staranis. The flavor follows the nose. The palate has a low carbonationlevel. Overall a boring beer.
