Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. A clear brown beer with a beige head. Toffee, butter, some roasted malt and coffee in the aroma. Sweet flavor, with a faint coffee note, some roasted flavors, butterscotch, toffee and bitterness. Feels a bit thin in the mouth, and finishing sweet with coffee and a decent bitterness. The beer is too buttery I think, but it’s sure drinkable. I prefer other Kvajj beers though. (080509)

May 21, 2008 Bottle, courtesy fonefan. Mid brown. Rather lively out of the bottle with a rather prickly carbonation on the tongue. Cream head. Caramel dominates throughout but its not too sticky. Maybe a little toasty malt. Low hop impact. Smooth, fairly soft (but not too thin) mouthfeel. Nothing out of the ordinary but competent and perfectly pleasant, if quite straightforward.
