So far rated by 7 mostly uncommented Netherlandians and a Belgian so let’s add an Aussie perspective. Hazy honey gold under a large rocky island, large bubbled, lasting foaming white head and nice light lacing. A very dynamic and varied aroma with floral and fruity nectar, sour mash and corn syrup malt, and faint perfumed detergent and chicken yard yeast aromas. Medium body fills the mouth with a tad too much foam like a rabid sweetish larger. Sweet, faintly soapy, hoppy bitter start trying to hide the alcohol with limited success. An even sweeter maltier middle still trying to hide the alcohol which finally comes out in the finish warming cheeks and ears. A pity it is so gassy because its quite an interesting beer.

Citrus and yeast in the aroma. Taste has a hint of tartness, yeast and citrus. Some alcohol. A bit bland for such a strong beer.

It has the typical chouffe taste in it, so the chouffe-taste compensates for the weak blond beer. This is the chouffe that is the least good.
