Alengrin (1719) - BELGIUM - AUG 25, 2014
Commissioned by a quiz club from Ranst near Antwerp, with thick, firm, moussy, yellowish white head and yellowish orange blonde colour, cloudy. Fruity aroma, strong iron, gooseberry, apricot, parsley, apple, vanilla, straw, grass. Light fruity taste with honeyish touch, medium carbo, caramel malts, subdued sweetness and spiciness, bitterish, not too pleasant finish, bit sticky and bit alcoholic, and even a bit phenolic.

sebletitje (6680) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAR 2, 2012
33cl bottle.

Benzai (8227) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2011
Bottle @ home. Clear yellow / golden color, huge rough white head. Appears to have a lot of carbo on first sight. Smell some sourness, alcohol and lightly infected. Taste malts and a little rancid. Acrid light bitter aftertaste. (not sure if ’acrid’ is the correct word, I mean what is called ’wrang’ in Dutch) Medium carbo, medium body.

rand (1290) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 22, 2010
Bottle 33 cl from Willems in Grobbendonk (B). Golden blonde with nice dome of white foam that sticks well on the glass, fine intense crackling. Smells sweet, malt, toffy and hop. The mouth is round, deliciously malty, grassy hop notes and lemon. A bittersweet beer very typical of Belgium.

Ungstrup (29287) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2010
Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, metal, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and caramel, leadign to a dry metallic finish.

Papsoe (25085) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a cloudy and opaque amber with a lacing off-white head. Phenollic and chemical aroma. Medium body, overripe fruits with a massive oxidization. Subdued biterness. Unfortunately way over the top. 110110
