500ml bottle kindly shared by KnutAlbert at our Absalon tasting session. Cool label design. The body colour is next to black. Disappearing beige head. Smell of roasted dark bread. Roasted grainy malts in flavour with hints of dark caramel and candy sweetness. Fits the style, a bit sweet, though (Copenhagen, hotel room 13.05.2012).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KnutAlbert (4618) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 14, 2012
Very dark beer. Burned toast and soot. Grain, sweet malt, more balanced than many German dark beers, but still too much on the sweet side for me. Try again!

50cl bottle, courtesy of Tomaz. BB 30/01/2013.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 edpeg (505) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 25, 2012
Pours almost black with reddish prism, with mocha lacing head. Aromas are rye bread, grains, roasted malts. Palate is slick soft smooth oily. There is flat soft carbonation. Taste is rye roast bred, malts.. Finish is sweet and ends in a very crispy dryness with a hint of hops. Very nice Porter.
