madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Apr 1, 2007 Partyfass. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Honey, light spice and light liqourice in the aroma. Flavour of spice, honey and light herbal. Has some liqourice. Is medium bodied. Has a sweetish caramel end. Wellmade but a bit too bland to be really interesting for me. Storm (2677), Amager, Denmark Oct 2, 2006 From partyfuss. (My version called Honning ale). Amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma of honey. Flavour of yeast, malt and honey. Ends up bitter and dry with a tasty long finish. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 13, 2006 Updated: Apr 5, 2007From tap at the brewery and 5L keg at Ølbaren. Beautiful beer, golden brown/orange, light brown head. Aroma is honey. Has a sweet start and a good bitter finish blended with honey sharpness. Taste of a classic ale but with the distinct flavour of Lyng honey. Notes from tasting at Ølbaren: lowered the original rating as the more neutral tasting of the beer couldn’t justify the initial high rating of 4.1 - but hey, have a pint of it at Læsø and your impressions will be more positive than this :) ante (2482), Stockholm (Bromma), Sweden May 2, 2008 Bottled, thanks Björn. Pours out in a clear amber colour with a small white foam. Solid and a bit grainy aroma of honey, nut-shells and grass. Medium-bodied with notes of honey, bark and grass. Long bitter woody, herbal and grassy finish with sweet undertones of honey and yellow fruits. Quite charming and rustic, if a bit rough around the edges. TorbenH (132), Frederikshavn, Denmark Dec 28, 2007 Bottle, Average off-white head, mostly diminishing. Cloudy amber body. Hoppy aroma. Bitter finish. low value for money.
