Almost no citrus. Short finish. Oily palate. Boring but refreshing witt. saxo (2061), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Jun 26, 2008 Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are wheat malt, yeast and hops. Very mild. onystrom (532), Skanderborg, Denmark Jun 26, 2008 Hazy golden color with okay head. Acidic aroma and acidic bitter flavour. Not a good beer... yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 30, 2007 Bottle. Hazy, yellow pour with lots of small floaties. The head is nice at first, but diminishes rather quickly. White and dense and leaving lacings. There’s a sour hint in the aroma, with citrus peel, wheat notes and a medicine touch. The flavor is citric and acidic, in a slightly refreshing way, yet clearly infected. There’s also some citrus peel bitterness, fruityness and wheat in the flavor, which finishes in the same way, with some bitterness. I was no way going to finish the bottle. Yet it was something nice about it. Hoped to have it on tap, but the brewpub closed an hour before I got there, so I had to go for the bottle instead. (070926) TheDog (237), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 13, 2007 Draught at the brewery. Pale and cloudy yellow colour with medium white head. Weak aroma and weak taste of wheat. Notes of citrus and corinth. A bit like Hoegarden. Medium hoppy and soft pleasant duration. Great at a sunny day.
