Maria (3816), Thisted, Denmark Jul 5, 2008 Brown/black with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, candy sugar and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, syrup, a little licorice, hints of smoke and a slightly dry, roasted bitterness. The body is nice and full/mellow, and it’s by far the best I have had from this brewer, that obviously has learnt from the difficulties in the beginning. Belgisk_Olklub (205), Viby J, Denmark Jun 18, 2008 Bottle 50 cl. Large, creamy, dark head with spare lacing. Black body. Heavy malt aroma of toasted and roasted malt. Also aroma of smoke, tar and licorice. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation. The flavor is moderate/heavy sweet and moderate bitter. A rather unbalanced and simple beer. Bragesnak (974), Aarhus, Denmark May 28, 2008 From Voldby, DK.
