3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 fata2683 (2103) - Tucson, USA - MAR 9, 2009
bottle, pours hazy orange medium white head. Yeasty and sour aroma with grapefruit and lambic funk. Light malt, orange and lemon juice and a tart gueuze in the finish. This is interesting to say the least. Crazy tart and lingering funk finish. Glad I got to try this, but it’s not my thing. Sour lovers would enjoy this one.

Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Murky orange colour. Sweet and orangey. Maybe some spices. Slightly dull mouthfeel. Easy drinking and easy going without generating too much interest. The most difficult thing about this beer was finding it in the database (I hadn’t noted down the brewery) - no idea what’s going on with the name with all those full stops.

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza. My god, this was so bad. My initital smell conjoured up unwanted thoughts of old jism. Sadly with that in my head I really couldn’t shift it. Sorry guys, I was nearly ill.
