Pale golden to amber. Taste of sweet malt, mostly not barley malt. Again one of those which is hopped to hide absence of proper ingredients. Medium bodied.

Canned, from Stockmann, Riga. Clear golden, firm head. Bready nose where prunes and slivovic lures under the surface. Mid sweet with medium body and roundedm, relatively firm moutheel. Fruity with a bit of that dirty, resiny saltiness that is often found in Polish/Russian strong lagers. Still it remains fairly drinkable. Bready malt with a shot of vodka is the lasting impression.

Dizalus doesn’t make you hope for much. It’s in a sketchy bum can and it’s 7.3% alcohol, plus it’s a lager in latvia, which gives it a pretty bad reputation automatically. But regardless, it’s a pretty decent beer, with a nice smell and a slightly fruity taste. The most disappointing part is the palate, which leaves your mouth feeling dry and raspy. Overall though, it’s worth a try.

Can 50cl from Henrik Papsoe thanks ! A clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is grainy, larger and paper like. Aroma is quite sweet with fruit notes such as apple, barley sugar. Finish is hopy on the peppery side with light toasted notes.
