2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
0,5L can, Rimi Bauska Latvija. Enjoyed in Tromsö.
The integrated can opener opens a big hole, unusual.
Scents of sweet malts, roasted malts and hints from a chocolate factory too.
Moderate head on a deep amber body, leaves few traces inside the mug.
Surprisingly mild taste, grains, butter, sunflower oil.
It ends with butter-bread, grains, overall surprisingly mild aftertaste too.
I tasted a amber lager vienna earlier, and this is completely different.
Very interesting acquaintance. For the independence for Latvija, cheers!

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0,5 l can brought to me from Latvia. There was a picture of a full pint painted on the can - and I only understood the reason when I tried to open it. This can opens wide and it is supposed to feel like drinking from a pint-glass. Neat idea!
Beer itself is clear, slightly amber. Small head is gone after a couple of seconds. There is not much aroma to talk about, slight hint of small malt and watermelon. Taste is better, first not so interesting, almost no character at all but it develops soon into a nice bitter aftertaste. Overall this is actually better than I was expecting, would be nice to drink it outside on a warm summer day.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours clear amber with white, frothy foam, light lacing, nice performance. Aroma - surprisingly that there is some fruity tones at the beginning, otherway - sweet malty. Taste- malty, sugary sweet, almost no bitter from hopping. Palate - light body, watery to compote texture, a bit floury on tongue. Almost no dry finish. O.A. - typical flavorless lager type, no intensity in any aspect. "No more brew."

Mealy oily alcoholic aroma with vegetable notes. Sweetish mealy
oily taste with vegetable notes. Mid-bodied. Flat, slightly
slick mouthfeel. Dryish minty oily vegetable aftertaste.
Unclean, oily, slightly unpleasant. A weird beer. (0.5l can,
from Stockmann, Riga.)
