With hops and rye, naturally fermented. We, Liv brewers, know what must be traditional, but good kvass investigated. Liv is a naturally fermented kvass and is not filtered, since it obtained particularly rich and full flavor. To make our kvass even more special, we added the rye and hops. This is Liv kvass-natural fermented, unfiltered, with a luxurious taste. Taste and evaluate the Liv brewers masterpiece!

Quite interesting kvass. High maltiness, rye, bready. Moderate to intense sweetness, unpleasant sourish aspect that bit ruins this brew. Otherwise – quite drinkable

Dark brown, strong beige head. Definite rye and maltiness on the nose. Sweet and caramely, with some sour undertones. Finishes malty and sweet. A good kvas, if a bit too sweet.

Draught @ a bar not far from the beach in Ventspils. Dark brown with a minimal off white head. Rye bread, raisins, brown sugar (lots of brown sugar), syrup and a touch of lingonberry in both aroma and flavour. A nice alternative to coke in the summer heat.

Tap (Riga Beer Festival 2014)
Brown, persistent head. Very kalja-extracty and sweet, some raisinss, hint of citric acid. Sweet, a little sticky. Treacly even. Did kinda like it though, better than any coke-like thing.

Draught at random nameless bar, Riga. Hazy dark brown, creamy head. Sweet and raisiny. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Date and sugar together with rye bread. No bitterness. Better than average commercial kvass.

rauchbier (3699) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2012
Bottle, from an ethnic foodstore in Scunthorpe. Hazy red brown, almost black, this shortlived deep beige head and moderate condition. Sweet malty bread and raisin in the nose, fruity in the mouth with a slight tartness and dominant rye bread maltiness, lingering fruity sweet finish with a minimal bitterness noticable.
