Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry, jerc, mabel & tupalev - courtesy of blankboy. Bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is sourish and slightly yeasty, with that indescribable note that appears in so many middle-rate Quebec beers. Thin body. Flavour has fruity notes of chardonnay, a bit of spice, mild yeast - kinda reminds me of a saison, actually. Not too bad despite the so-so aroma - although I find the 10% alc hard to believe, seems more like 6% or 7% to me.

Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consist of a very nice Belgian malt base with some spicy yeast and some light white grapes notes. Taste is also a very well balance mix between some spicy peppery yeast with some notes white grapes and a strong semi-sweet malt backbone. Great carbonation with a full body and no apparent alcohol. I really enjoyed that one and definitely like it then most of the other offering.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, Jerc, Mabel, and GregClow, courtesy of blankboy. Medium yellow, small white head. Pleasant lemony aroma, yeasty as well. Nice taste - more yeast, lemon, light and floral. Good, refreshing. I apparently liked it more than most based on these scores!

[1516-20080711] 750 bottle. Light floral yeast aroma. Hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Floral yeast flavour has a hint of banana fizz. Medium body is fizzy. Surprisingly drinkable, not too alcoholic.

Overheard: "Brown... smells like Quebec."

My Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc, mabel & tupalev. 2008 vintage. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-orange with an average size white head. Aroma’s sweet and yeasty along with a bit of fruit and spices. Flavour’s the same: Sweet, yeasty and fruity but I find the lightly hoppy finish a little iffy, not sure why. I get no alcohol at all which is impressive -- is this really 10%? Average bodied. Nothing great but still decent, I didn’t mind it.
