3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at brewpub. Black with a resilient creamy beige head. Tastes like a yeasty witbier, very sweet. No roast, coffee, chocolate or ash taste I would have expected from a regular stout. Slight wheat-ish bitterness in the finish. Not the best I’ve had from La Barberie, but it was interesting nonetheless.
