1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Gunny (41) - Dundas, - APR 15, 2005
500mL bottle. Bottled on date of 09/04. Mahogany with a noisy, quickly dissapating offwhite head. I smell Flemish Sour when I should be enveloped in sweet malt. Unpleasant vinegar flavour with a metallic twang. The finish is dry cherry flavoured Chapstick. I couldn’t find a Scotch Ale hiding anywhere.

5/2003 on the bottle. Opaque dark brown with medium tan head. Malty aroma, sweet malt, kinda smells like Mop-n-Glow. Tastes like it too. Vinagary, I thought it was infected, however based on the other ratings of this crap, I guess it is bang on.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Glouglouburp (4783) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 26, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2006 500 ml bottle. Dark brown-reddish color with a medium brown head with average retention. Fruity aroma!!! A Scotch Ale with a fruity aroma? Thick body. Taste is acidic, cardboard, rotten fruits that ends with an unpleasant bitterness. According to the bottle I tasted, it was bottled almost a year ago. Infected bottle or bad beer? The one thing I’m sure about is that this beer was worst than death itself, at least death doesn’t get worse every year.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lubiere (7003) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2005
Deep reddish brown with a thin moka head. Light caramel in aroma. Sweet caramel in mouth, with notes of licorice, but rather watery overall, with little body. Falls flat. On tap at Vices et Versa. At least, it was not contaminated, as in the bottled version.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 omhper (15965) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2004
Bottled. Dark brown, rich head. Strong lemony nose. Sweet with syrupy mouthfeel. Flowery and yeasty with some vinegar. Besides it’s beautiful appearance there not really any redeeming features.
1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 hopdog (7054) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 11, 2004
Shared bottle provided by Eyedrinkale (thanks!). Poured a dark reddish/brown with a tan head. I really didn’t care for this at all. My notes only stated that it smells like crap and the bottle could possibly be infected. Smell like garbage and tasted bad as well. I may have to try another bottle or maybe not…
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 7, 2004
Vinegary-chalky aroma. Dark brown with small tan head that recedes to thin ring. Chalky roastiness battles with watered down malts. Prickling carbonation and watery mouthfeel. Il ya tellement des problemes avec les bieres de la barberie en bouteilles. Je ne sais pas pourquoi je continue a les essayé. Bottle sampled with muzzlehatch.
