on tap at brewpub. pitch black with a creamy-nitro beige head, good retention and lacing. lots of roasted coffee, chocolate, peppery, minty, very light orange aroma - still, it’s there. medium hopping - bitter coffee and orange. some burnt malts. soft carbonation, medium body, medium long bitter finish. one of the nice ones from barberie. rare to find.

tap at the brewpub - Pours near black with a tan head. It has an aroma of deep roast malt and coffee. The flavor is similar with soft carbonation, no orange noticeable, and a too watery body. The flavor is pretty good, but overall it underperforms as a stout.
