Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer gushes once opened and eventually calms down and pours a hazy, milky yellow color with a white head. Not a real attractive looking pour. The aroma is wheat, lemons and some grainy notes. Nothing bad, but nothing too exciting. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of wheat and grain notes as well as some orange and lemon notes. The beer is fairly fruity tasting, but the grainy notes are hurting the overall flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle, as Barbiot Blonde, 8 %.
... bought @ Beer Planet, Brussels.
Pours murky, pale yellow with some small floaties. Big, frothy, white head. Aroma is milky, lots of flowers, roses, sweetish pilsner malts and light biscuity. Medium carbonation, rather thin and slightly watery palate. Flavour has brett, green apples, flowers, estery, some mild sweetness. Bretty dry and mildly peppery finish. Okay.

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 31, 2010
(bottle, 33cl, as La Barbiot Blonde, but with 8% abv) Hazy, golden colour with a thick and slightly cream-coloured foamy head. Distinctively smokey malty aroma with lighter citrus-fruity notes, leather and a touch of barnyard. Moderately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Smoked pale malt-character with notes of peat/leather and delicately herbal hoppy notes; almost dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish with a slightly smokey aftertaste. A likeable brew, which seems to be almost completely fermented; a sweeter malt-character could have given it more balance. 31.X.10

yngwie (9205) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2009
Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy yellow-orange beer gushing out of the bottles and leaving a big, collapsing white head. Chalky, citrusy bretty nose in a slightly unpleasant way. Brett, chalk, citrus and pale malts in the flavor. Some notes of alcohol as weel. Bitter, sour finish. Medium, dry mouthfeel with good carbonation. Not a very nice beer, even though it has some refreshing and quenching qualities. 090822
