3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 amasero (8) - - MAR 25, 2009 does not count

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 janubio (236) - SPAIN - OCT 11, 2011
330 ml. bottle. Hazy pale golden colour, good head that fades quickly but leaves an impressive lace. Spicy aroma, mostly maybe coriander, some pepper, vanilla and maybe cardamom. It feels good in tongue, carbonated, balanced. Taste is spicy too, maybe with more fruity notes, appe and tropica fruits. For once, it’s a worthwhile belgian beer adapted to a different taste without being just a bad nonsense liquid.
IMO, just a bit too sweet.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - JUL 13, 2011
Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier, Switzerland Cloudy blond color; high carbonation, producing a big head. It has the usual Belgian aroma of spicy yeast and old hops; some coriander. Spicy malt flavor, at the same time biting/dry but also lightly sweet; the mouthfeel is smooth (highly carbonated); the body is well structured. Correct bitterness for this kind of beer. Indeed fairly well brewed and pleasant.
