Gpnterojd (130), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Nov 1, 2007 Pours clear gold with fluffy marshmallow head. Aroma is strong on alcohol. Banana, vodka, ice, and yeast. Flavour is heavy on the alcohol as well. Amidst the burn comes some sweet malts and mild hops. The head looks snowy as it settles. Allspice and garlic. Not a bad offering -- would be great to warm up to in the middle of winter by the fire. Nice full body and pleasing, light, dry finish. However, both flavour and aroma seem rather underdeveloped and alcohol-centric.

Amber beer with a huge cvream colored head. Yeasty, bready, spicy aroma. Malty, estery fruit flavor with yeast and spice. Medium body. Yeast, spice, breadiness, and light fruit linger. Nice complexity. Alcohol slightly noticeable. hophead75 (1631), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Jul 20, 2008 bottle. Hazy blonde in color with very heavy carbonation- was a gusher. Huge off white head, very grainy and sharp malty aroma with a touch of sour fruit. Taste: very dry, sharp malty and grainy body with very aggressive carbonation, with an odd (stale) honey sweetness and a touch of sourness in the finish. I can’t get into this one, half of it is going down the drain. tristan13 (7), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Jul 9, 2008 330 ml bottle. dark golden color. hidden alcohol for the strength. pretty good but would rather a piraat. Shag (1750), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Jul 1, 2008 A dark golden appearance with a large white carbonated head. The flavor contains some lemons, apricots, bananas, with quite a bit of spices. The flavor contains honey, bananas, lemons, and table sugar. A spice presence in the flavor as well. This hides the alcohol really well. The mouthfeel is slightly syrupy. Overall this was a pretty good beer.
