Tessic (383), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Jan 24, 2008 This ale poured a light golden yellow with a thick white creamy head. To the nose there are scents of yeast, passion fruit and floral hopps. First taste was thin/lacking in flavour at first but yet an almost oily mouthfeel. The finish is hoppy with flavours of apples, yeast and hopps. Palate is hoppy, floral and bitter.

Taste, hoppy, fruity (banana, vailla?), malty with some honey.

The taste of vinous and apple juice, with a lot of alcohol. Very sweet. Not my kind of beer. Suds_McDuff (1021), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Aug 23, 2008 well well, a beer with a fancy smelly pirate on the label ... intresting and surprising smell, alcohol and honey and paint thinner and yeast and dull lemon ... has some nice flavours mixed with odd ones , cardboard with honey some grape ... biscuit ... a pretty tasty pirate like beer ... Beer_Hawk (759), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured hazy orange with a tall, rocky, white head. Some lasting and good lacing. Floral, fruit aroma with hints of a lemon background. Nice fruit, citrus, and spice mix in the flavor. Light to medium body. Decent but a little different.
