Dorata, schiuma bianca poco persistente giustificata dall'alta gradazione alcolica. Aroma di lievito belga, erbaceo e lievito belga, leggermente pepata. Al palato stesse caratteristiche con una bella nota finale di miele. Ben carbonata, corpo medio-pieno.

Bottle, Sirmione, Lago di Garda. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, sugar, fruit, light metallic notes, light sourness, wet clothes, alcohol. Flavor is little better than aroma, malt, sugar, fruit, alcohol. Medium body, soft carbonation, warming alcoholic finish. 210815

Poured from a 330mL bottle into a short glass to drink. The beer had a clear, bubbly gold color with a large-sized foamy white head with very good retention, and modest cling and lacing. The aroma had a strong floral and citrus hops blend, with lighter notes of yeast, wheat, straw, and some fruit. It was a mostly bitter grainy and floral taste with some lighter citrus sweetness, and a somewhat sour effect as well. The beer had a strong presence of alcohol with a slight burning effect, and was a very dry but thick beer with a large mouth presence.

Colpito positivamente. Bottiglia, Una volta versata, bel colore carico, dorato, quasi ambrato. Gli 11 gradi, a mio parere, sono ben celati. All’assaggio, pane, lievi sentori di frutta, retrogusto lievemente metallico. Si lascia bere con grande facilità. Retrogusto in bocca dolce e piacevole. Nel complesso una birra sicuramente buona.

Alone at home. Clear goldblond colored beer with large diminishing white head and medium carbonation. Malty fruited bit alcoholic aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is sweet bitter spicy.

330 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, white head, over a hazy, effervescent gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is light colored fruits (pear, apple) light noble hops, balance to the hops.....taste is slightly sweet, with light noble hops, hints of fruit, light cereal, mild finishing bitterness, balance to the hop....mouth feel, light of medium body, heavy alcohol burn, high carbonation. This is a very alcohol dominated beer so much so that it is almost raw. For a Belgian Strong Ale it has minimal complexity in both aroma and flavor. The recipe needs a rework. BJCP 6/2/12/4/6

33cl bottle part of 6 pack from LCBO, Greektown in Toronto, ON. 11% alc. / vol. Pours a hazy deep gold colour with one finger of lasting white head. Aroma of yeast and hops. Taste matches the aroma with a lively carbonation and dry hoppy finish.

Decent belgian blonde, with some light fruit and a zesty yeast...kinda lacking in depth for a BSA, though. Not bad, but not worth the price.

bottle. Poured clear gold with an initially large white head that settles. Light bready malt aroma, boozy. Medium bodied, tight carbonation, metallic finish. Flavour is grainy and sweet, peppery hops with yeast and alcohol notes.

Gift pack from the LCBO. Pours a golden yellow, slight touch of haze, lots of carbonation, massive fluffy white head, some lace. Nose is sugary malt, touch of spice, Belgian yeast. Tastes bitter initially, that gives way to candy sugar, sweet caramelized malt, spicy. Decent, not my favorite from the gift box.
