COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
energetic and full-bodied taste with sweetish pronounced tone, brown copper color and with a creamy foam of beige tonality, bouquet harmonious and elegant. Category "Belgian Strong Dark Ale", style "brown ale", this beer is produced with the method of the triple fermentation, means that it has three doses of malt more than the quantity used for other beers, added in three different phases of workmanship, like the last phase where the malt is directly put in the bottle or the keg.

Not the best bottle by sight, but definitely a very good content. Try it!

Pours a hazy reddish brown with decent head that diminishes quickly. This brew aromas consist of raisins, toffee, and just a hint of dark chocolate. Like the aroma, the taste starts out with flavors of raisins then fades to caramel with an alcohol finish. This is my second Boucanier brew and I have to say that this line is becoming one of my favorites.

bottled, probably the best of the buccaneer series, dark reddish color with some lacy foam, aroma is malty, grain and brown sugar, flavor of brown sugar, breaddy malt and some fruit, finish is well balanced for the abv

Hazy warm brown colour, good off-white head. Taste is mostly wine! Some raisins and dried fruit, alcohol. Good carbonation, full body. Taste is a bit onesided (wine) for a better rating.

Aroma is quite sweet and has some hints of dark fruit. Smooth and easy to drink despite the high alcohol level. Falvour has a nice level of sweetness. It’s quite fruity and malty.

Dark red-brown, creamy and big head, sour fruity aroma, some caramel and raisins in nose. Full bodied, oily texture, well corbonized. Rum and a little bit of caramel on palate, malty and rather sweet aftertaste, B@H

33cl bottle 4 months over the best before date. Thick creamy head. A little too foamy. Hazy amber pour. Quite decent

Bottle from Beer Temple, Brussels. Dark amber with big head. Nose of fruits and malts and spices. Taste is nicer with caramel and toffee. Bit medicinal and strong. Okay.
