Deep gold colour, thick white head. Aroma very sweet, with caramel and chocolate, you can feel an alcohol. Flavor resonates with aroma, also sweet, like a piece of chocolate with some liqueur. Tasty, balanced beer, very specific one. If you taste this beer, you would like to eat some candy :)

Dark crimson red, white head. Looks promising. Aroma is just oddly overly sweet. Brown sugar, brandyish, syrup. Taste is very similar, overly sweet. Sweetest beer I’ve ever had. Just doesn’t work for me. Syrup!

Bottiglia 33cl. Colore giallo arancio con una schiuma compatta ma che svanisce dopo poco. Olfatto dolce, miele, caramello, frutti rossi, arancia ma con note ferrose. Gusto molto dolce: miele, arancia, fragola e caramello. Buona birra a costo ridotto.

Countbeer (4387) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 3, 2013
Bottle: Big and lively, vast with some airy bubbles here and there, creamy foamy head. Aromas of honey, malts, barleys, flowers, cream, some cake, light mead a like, some herbs/spices, drenched apricot and wood. Bit like a less alcoholic liquor, while it’s not alcoholic. Pretty nice aroma. Flavours of malts, hay, floral tones, meal, porridge, sweets like sugar, honey, marzepin and apricot, a better and growing bitterness, some yeast, bread and cake, some floral tones with a sprinkle of herbs and spices... Bit like syrup or medicine while it’s not medicinal. Aftertaste is good bitter, some malts, soap, floral tones, Low carbo, soft close to silky mouthfeel, good and just a bit more than medium body and a creamy texture. Nothing strange here, quit normal but balanced thus easy drinkable.

33 cL bottle from the LCBO, served in a snifter. Pours hazy orange with a moderate off-white head that fades and leaves a moderate amount of fine lace. On the nose, there are notes of caramel, candy sugar, grass, pale fruit and yeast. The flavour is moderately sweet with apple, berries, caramel and a touch of hops. It closes with a soft fruity maltiness. On the palate it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a nice fruity Belgian red ale. Very drinkable but not terribly interesting. 2013-02-23
