4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 donatien (14) - USA - JUL 31, 2009
really nice try from the binchoise brewery. A perfect beer served on tap and a pretty great one from the bottles. I enjoy totally that kind of real BELGIAN BEER... certainly the name amazing... But as all belgians shall said : "vla une bonn’peinte" And it’s right. Lightly amber ale, nice nose of cara malts, not too much carbonated, just as needed for washing the tongue if drank when eating some "mitrailette-fricadelle-mayonnaise", the beer can be drank again and again as it’s never too much of that greatly refreshing hops touch...

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6747) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 5, 2004
(draught) Orange-gold beer; little, peach-coloured, very fine head. Pale malts, mushrooms (NOT mouldy), bit of cola. Fruity, fresh yeasty taste, surprising - just this little taste of cookies on a fresh, herbal taste. Very refreshing beer: this is a good remake of the ’Spéciale Belge’ style. Light to medium bodied. Obviously, I like this. I think more of this type of light ales ought to be reproduced.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Crit (2841) - New Westminster, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 2, 2007

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (9205) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 20, 2007
Bottled. Clear, golden pour with an off-white head. Quite weak aroma with caramel, dried fruits, some spicy note and some caramel. Caramel, a little spicyness, malt, sugar, dried fruites and a weak note of cardboard in the flavor. Medium to full body. A pleasant, "by-the-fire" beer, almost session-style. It is a bit weal all the way, but i really like it. (070404)
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 gunnfryd (7065) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 28, 2007
Bottle. Dark golden colour with a beige head. Pleasen aroma of fruit, yeast, caramel, spices. Flavour is caramel, spices, malt, dried fruits. Nice beer, but could be more.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Oakes (10202) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 1, 2005
Bright copper colour with low carbo and a big soapy head. Slightly musty aroma with hints of pears, dust and bread. Flavour is sweet, tasting very different than the aroma smelled. This character is oxidized maltiness, plums, light spice and caramel. Respectable complexity. Not a bad example of the standard Belgian amber, which seems to me more a style to drink with your roast beef than something to genuflect before at Kulminator.
