UPDATED: JAN 9, 2012 31/12/2011 33cl bottle @ De Heeren van Liedekercke - BB: 20/1/13 (2011-749)
Little cloudy blond beer, very small sediment floating around, small creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: citrus fruit, bit floral, yeasty character, sweet malts, touch of caramel (could be the honey though). Taste: citric start, bitter, a bit floral, sweet malts. Aftertaste: grains, bit of citrus, bitter refreshing. No honey though? Could it be the age of the beer? (by the BB date, I would guess it was one or two years old)

330ml bottle from glouglouburp shared with blankboy and garthicus. Very hazy orange with a minimal off-white head - kind of dead-looking. Interesting aroma - honey, heather, alcohol and a little acetone. Taste follows, but weaker and somewhat more harsh - papery. Not fizzy, but still a bit of a sting on the tongue, quick-finishing, a little "pulled apart" - probably a bit old now (2009 bottle). Ehhh. I like the honey character.

Thanks to HogTownHarry. Appearance: honey coloured, medium white head. Aroma: Honey, malt, a little alcohol, caramel and clover. Flavour: mild honey, quite a weak mouthfeel with spice, alcohol, malt and caramel. Long toffee & alcohol finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Swaroga (788) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 4, 2011
33cl bottle. Pours a light, hazy yellow/green. Medium snowy white head. Nose : fruit esters, floral and yeah , honey aromas. Caramel malts. Cereals. Sip : Creamy with a medium carbonation. Sweet with fruit aromas and a small honey. Quite floral and refreshing beer. Aftertaste has some traces of bitter hops. Overall : the alcohol is well hidden in this beer although there is not much honey overpowering the brew. It has a very light taste of honey that some malts could procure more.

Pours clear liquid gold with small head. Sweet aroma (quelle surprise). Good full mouthfeel with lots of malt and a honey aftertaste. Not a complex beer, but decent handiwork.

semi-sweet, slightly malty with velvety mouthfeel. Mild honey aromas, smooth yet somewhat metallic.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Svesse (5196) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2011
(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of canned peaches, tropical fruit and honey. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, tropical fruit, peaches and a certain honey sweetness. Gentle bitterness. Sometimes honey just adds sweetness, but in this case it seems to give the beer a more solid and structured body and mouthfeel, without making it excessively sweet. Nice one.
