COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A honey beer that never lets you forget the fact. Although there is only a slight trace of it in the nose the intensity of the honey in the palate may be a bit much for some people. This is an accomplished beer that oozes quality yet retains a small brewery taste. Also sold as Berenbier in Flanders.

I have got this one already twice @ Kulminator in Antwerp. I donít know correct, but on the dust to see, it kinda looks vintage. Itís one of the better honey beers, there are kinda flowties in the beer. But, the taste is very indepet, texture kinda bready, no head. But it givis a feeling like a congac or something like that, the beer isnít sweet @ all. Maybe this is the review of a vintage bottles, but itís very good.

Aroma is of perfumed bread. Taste is surprisingly not cloyingly sweet and the honey hard to detect. Peppery, warming without having a noticeable alcohol aroma, spicy, high carbonation. Pretty good, weird aroma though.

Light amber coloured and hazy. Has a white head, medium diminishing. Aroma is sweet, sweet bread and sugars. Flavor is heavy sweet, some nice hoppy notes, perhaps yeast too. Creamy, syrupy texture.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a brownish pale golden colour with no head at all. Aroma has malts, yeast and nuts. Average frizzy carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet and a long sweet finish. Overall, a nice beer but always with alcohol present.

McWorta (544) - LUXEMBOURG - JAN 26, 2014
Honey coloured hazy beer with a fading large white head leaving a fine line on the top. On the nose aromas of hot stones, barnyard, straw and bread develop. Light fizzy with a light slick texture. Medium body and pretty well balanced, rather mellow considering the alc. Content. The finish is light bready and medium long. Pleasantly going down, nice beer.

Not sure what this beer is supposed to be about. Very pale colour, some sediments flowing. Didnít detect any hint of honey, neither smelling nor tasting. Too much carbonation for me.

33cl bottle @ Bouillon; pours hazy yellow (reminds me of a Witbeer), with small white foam; low to medium carbo; smells lemony, malty; taste is dry, watery, lemons, very low acidity, some sharp sticking aftertaste. I donít taste honey in this one. Not my cup of tea.
