3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I have got this one already twice @ Kulminator in Antwerp. I don’t know correct, but on the dust to see, it kinda looks vintage. It’s one of the better honey beers, there are kinda flowties in the beer. But, the taste is very indepet, texture kinda bready, no head. But it givis a feeling like a congac or something like that, the beer isn’t sweet @ all. Maybe this is the review of a vintage bottles, but it’s very good.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a brownish pale golden colour with no head at all. Aroma has malts, yeast and nuts. Average frizzy carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet and a long sweet finish. Overall, a nice beer but always with alcohol present.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Honey coloured hazy beer with a fading large white head leaving a fine line on the top. On the nose aromas of hot stones, barnyard, straw and bread develop. Light fizzy with a light slick texture. Medium body and pretty well balanced, rather mellow considering the alc. Content. The finish is light bready and medium long. Pleasantly going down, nice beer.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not sure what this beer is supposed to be about.
Very pale colour, some sediments flowing.
Didn’t detect any hint of honey, neither smelling nor tasting. Too much carbonation for me.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
33cl bottle @ Bouillon; pours hazy yellow (reminds me of a Witbeer), with small white foam; low to medium carbo; smells lemony, malty; taste is dry, watery, lemons, very low acidity, some sharp sticking aftertaste. I don’t taste honey in this one. Not my cup of tea.

Flaske fra kiosken rundt hjørnet, på hotellrommet i Brussel: kortvarig skum og diskret aroma. Snev av mandarin og honning i smaken. Frisk og farlig lettdrikkelig med sine 8,5 volt.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very lively when poured but head disappeared quickly. Scent of floral honey and ’old’ hops. Cardboard. Very lively in the mouth, blowing your cheeks out. Very fizzy, sweet taste of woody honey. Doughy, malty and slightly orangy flavours. Not the best honey beer tasted but pleasant enough. Long aftertaste of honey and hops. Let down by poor hop choice.

Robe très trouble avec des voltigeurs. Jolies notes de miel au nez; moins présentes en bouche. Texture moyenne, alcool marqué en finale.
