Pours a hazy golden yellowish orange color with a two finger frothy white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Not much in the way of lacing.
Spicy peppery aroma with a strong citrus presence. Hints of crisp light fruit, mostly apple and pear, as well as corriander, lemon zest.
Creamy medium body with a lot of zesty, peppery spice up front followed by some crisp apple and pear notes as well as some light fruit notes, again apple and pear with a bit of banana. Slightly tart dry finish.

Taste of oranges and citrus. Malt flavours too. Spicyness in the finish. Good. MrRoss (614), Delta, British Columbia, Canada Jul 17, 2009 Poured a hazy medium copper in colour, with a tremendously large white foamy head; some slight lacing involved here. Aroma was sweetish like malt but more fruity. Taste was most complex and intriguing, being of spices and fruit. Great stuff! humulushound (109), British Columbia, Canada Jun 14, 2009 Served at Stella’s on commercial drive in Vancouver. Must have had a good bottle because this beer was fantastic for me. Golden yellow-orange color with billowing off-white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, bread and honey. Flavors of apricots, orange, honey, yeast and understated spice and grains finishing clean and refreshing. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Jun 12, 2009 33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy blond beer with lasting quick thick beige head. Bit of puke on aroma. A lot better in mouth, with some decent lightness to the malts. And then some ok hop on finish. Still, not the greatest blond in the world. Ok. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Apr 4, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye cork says #4191. Nice gold pour with a cream head that dissipates to a ring quite fast. Nose is heavy on yeast, dried fruits and some slight musk. Light on the palate with a musk flavor that is backed by spices and fruit. Clean finish and well carbonated.
