Commercial Description:
Available with two labels - Blonde in Wallonia and Fakir in Flanders and Canada. Though it is also relabelled as La Molagnarde Blonde. This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. We find this beer is great when served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it warms up.

This is a citrus, yeasty beer that a lighter (in color) beer drinker will enjoy. The pour is opaque, slightly amber yellow. There is a light white head that lasts quite a while and laces your glass. The taste is sweet and citrus. There is coriander spice and a dry, bitter finish. Good use of hops to compliment the citrus ingredients.

Light hazy blond beer with nice fluffy light colored head. Faint malt aroma’s and hints of citrus and coriander. taste is dry, dry malty and has hints of unripe stone fruits. in the second fase there is a nice hoppy bitterness and a faint soury touch in the afthertaste.

Blond color. The aroma is simple, with some coriander and lemon peel. Very dry mouthfeel (also because of an aggressive bitterness), poor malt, spicy (coriander); gets smoother and sweeter when warmer. Unbalanced.

A touch of orange marmalade on the nose with some background spice. A bit of bubblegum and very soft apple, on a grassy candied body. Sligtly reminiscent of perfume and aromatherapy candles. Slightly metallic finish with some residual spice.

Almost lager like yellow color; fairly sustained, fluffy head; Hint of green apple in the nose. Tart at the front, plain in the back. Burped peanuts?? Remains unextraordinary. Waiting to get to bottom of bottle- hoping the yeast will add something. Ok, the yeast added a very strange, undrinkable medicinal aspect. Almost like drinking perfume.

(Bottled) Almost opaque orange color with a large, big-bubbled, quickly vanishing head. Honey-fruity, slightly metallic and alcoholic aroma. Very fruity, smooth flavor with some hops in the finish. Slightly sour and yeasty with lots of lemon. Medium-bodied, carbonated palate. A quite plain, but reasonably refreshing blonde with a stingy aroma and smooth flavor.
