75cl bottle shared by Kraddel @ his Post TdG tasting 04/2013. - comes both in an elegantly shaped vase/decanter-bottle with a rather juvenal label design, unclear whom this should be marketed at. - A typical blonde abbey tripel that has sophisticatedly been brewed into smooth oblivion: some honey sweetness, great dryness beneath usual heavy-duty Belgian yeast esters. - could not locate the barrel apart from maybe ethereal whisky fumes. Medium sticky palate. Drinkable but all in all a bit unnecessary.

75cl bottle courtesy of Kraddel @ Post Toer de Geuze tasting.

75 cl. Armand 4 style bottle sampled courtesy of Kraddel. Hazy sun golden, little white head. Cleaning bitter agents in the nose, very strong spices, organic, alternative malts, bitter, lightly floral. Lactic taste, spices, flowers, milky, near butter, bitter spices, banana, bitter in the end with some EU hops, warming booze in the back, some grains,… Carb. is pretty high. Price is way too high but this is interesting and agreeable. Whisky comes through maybe in the added alcohol?

Bottle courtesy of 77ships, thank you! Murky whitish yellow color, small white edge head. Aroma of vanilla, creamy lemon. Taste is similar.

Slightly irregular, fine-bubbled medium head over fully hazy orange-yellow beer. Dough and garden weeds, fresh malts and some herbal EU hops. Not very distinctive. Sweetish, malty flavour with a drier finish, which is warming - the alcohol showing and reinforcing the sweetness. Fain incense flavour; warming up turns liquorice-like. Some alcoholwarming, quite oily-slick; well-carbonated feel. Quite refined, but not realy exhilarating. Has some alcoholcharacter, but I don’t find any real whiskycharacteristics.

75cl, new exclusive organic brew Anno 2011, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, floral/woody and slightly spicy/bitter, not too heavy, balanced, cloudy, good head, good brew, yet expensive!, "Original and very beautiful bottle!"
