Speciale Noël could only be a Christmas beer. It is a classic, warming winter ale with plenty of depth and a roasted, fruity malt character.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark mahogany with moderate head of small bubbles and lots of carbonation. Aromas of spice, raisins, brown sugar and sweet toasted malts. Flavors of ginger, vegetables, and toasted malts with a hard to place sour finish. A good Belgian base but with a strange twist.

Is this a Christmas ale?? The taste had some sour red fruits en a bit caramel in the after taste. But I didn´t like this beer at all, I was expecting a heavy full complex Christmas beer as all of them, but this was more a refreshing beer.

Served in a stubby bottle as reserve speciale. Poured into a tulip glass. Nice cloudy amber, minimal head. Hoppy, wheaty nose with some roasted nuts. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Nicely malty taste, great hop balance. Hints of sweetness dance on the tongue but are hard to place. Quite good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear amber coloured beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Spicy malty fruited aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is bitter spiced dry with sweet hints.
