Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 17, 2004 A hazy dark red beer with a fine off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of nutmeg and cloves - a really lovely aroma. The flavor is sweet with notes of nutmeg, cloves, yeast, oranges, wood, roasted bread, caramel and corriander. A great flavor that is rounded off by a light bitterness. The palate is good - and it warms very nicely. Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 6, 2005 Updated: Mar 1, 2006(Bottle 33 cl) Reddish amber with a tall, frothy head and lots of sediment. Extremely full-bodied and potent Christmas beer with a good dose of hops to balance things. Has a lightly perfumy, refined touch - maybe coriander. An excellent brew. 080698 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 24, 2001 Updated: Dec 26, 2004Tan-accented light brown with clouds. Flowery, perfumey, peachy aroma with a hint of cobwebby yeast and mandarins. Soft, sweet, peachy, perfumey.
