Direi non male questo esperimento del birrificio ticinese, miele in una doppelbock. Bella presenza, ambrato carico, al naso prevale il miele con sentore affumicato. Anche in bocca il miele domina, con un finale leggero fumč e amaro appena...

Bottle 75 cl from Manor Marin (CH). Ale dark brown, creamy and beige foam. Scents of fruity malt and honey. Taste like, well balanced, sweetness of honey, chestnut note, average body, a feeling of alcohol and ideal bitterness. Pleasant and successfull.

Draught at the brewpub, Doppelbock with honey
Dark brown color; compact head; it’s nicely served in a wine glass. Pleasant aroma, of honey and alcohol; very light smoke. Good body strength, malt flavor, quite sweet, caramel, chestnut honey. Strong ending bitterness. The alcohol warms the mouth. The only negative points: too cold, and a bit metallic mouthfeel in the end. Very good.
