Clou de girofle, gingembre, citron, longue en bouche, surprenant comme départ de ma série de galopins...ça se calme rapidement par la suite.

4 oz sample at Ottawa brew pub. Milky light golden with a white rim. Quite earthy and yeasty with a little lemony citrus, a bit marshy, faint esters, hints of bitter herbs, kinda boring. Medium body, gentle, fairly full effervescence. Quite a bit of yeast, earthy, a bit brothy, some citrus, toasted wheat; dry with gentle bitterness, a hint of brightness and a fair yeasty, wheat finish. Not awful, not a shining example of the style though.

Sample at the Ottawa brewpub. Pale yellow with a white head. Some wheat, sugar, hint of lemon, not much going on. High carbonation, mild body, somewhat dry yet thin.

I don’t like this beer. Tastes quote different to other belgian whites, but unfortunatelly not in a good was. Tastes a little bit as washing soap..

Sampler from brewpub Reims as Les 3 Brasseurs Blanche. Hazy yellow coloured, small to medium sized white head, lively carbonation, hint of lemon in the nose. Weak wheaty, lemony and mild coriander taste with short and pretty watery finish. Not bad but...

Tap at 3 Brasseurs, Vieux Montreal - 04/03/12. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Wheat, yeast, a little sourness and a touch of citrus on the nose. Taste as nose with a little spice and corriander and you can pick out lemon. Medium body for the style with prickly carbonation. Average.

Bottle. [thanks Søren & Feldthaus]
Pale yellow with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma has wheat, sweet malts, light citrus. High carbonation, light and slightly watery mouthfeel. Flavour is weak, light vegetable, citrus, subtly grainy. Not a fabulous beer.

On tap at the Toronto brewpub. Pours a cloudy straw gold with virtually non-existent white cap. Nose of citrus, wheat and spice. Flavour is lemon and wheat with a little spiciness. Drying finish. Nothing special.
